It's time for the finale of the popular reality show to find the most talented young singer. For the past one year the contestants have been battling it out through a series of tough rounds. Now the remaining five contestants – Vishnu K.G., Vishnu Krishnan, Athira, Sadhika and Swetha Ashok – are in for a showdown on Sunday as they vie for the top spots.

Valentine's Day specials

The channel has an array of special programmes to celebrate Valentine's Day beginning with ‘Anantham Ajnatham' at 06.30. Get all the behind-the-scenes news from Mollywood in ‘Cinema diary' at 14.30. ‘Vishwasichalum Ilangilum' is at 15.00. The premiere of the film ‘Ayudham' is at 15.30. From 18.00 onwards is the finale of ‘Star Singer Junior.'

Sherlock Holmes

As part of Ulaga Thiraipada Varisai, watch this 1980 Soviet adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's classic. The fifth in ‘The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson' series, the film is directed by Igor Maslennikov. Vasily Livanov stars as Holmes and Vitaly Solomin plays Watson.

Cocoa (Theobroma cacao), a native plant of South America, was brought to India in the early part of the 20th century. As an intercrop in coconut and areca nut groves, cocoa has several advantages.

Its enormous foliage is used as humus, and it enriches the soil, smothers weed growth, conserves moisture, and enhances the yield of the main crop in a way. Above all, farmers are able to make thrice the money compared to coconut or areca nut because of the prevailing market rate and assured minimum support price.
