Participants go all out to make a mark in this talent hunt for wannabe comedians. Packed with innovative and interesting rounds, each episode tests the contestants' ability to raise a laugh.

They will be judged by a permanent jury consisting of Jagadish and Tini Tom. Comedians of the big and small screens will join the jury to assess the participants' skills. Tune in for laughs.

Dance Dance

Here is an opportunity for dancers to get their act together and win prizes. Asianet Plus is inviting applications for their new programme to select the best dance troupes in Kerala.

Professional dance troupes and college-based groups are eligible to participate in the contest if there are at least eight dancers in the group. Meant for homemakers, the show has various segments devoted to women in different fields. ‘Penn peruma' showcases women achievers; ‘Nizhalayi, Nilavayi…' focusses on the women behind successful men; ‘Snehavarnangal' features women who have become legends in the fields of culture, literature and sports; ‘Padathile Pennu' examines the relevance of women characters in tinsel town; ‘Aksharangallele Aval' explores the memorable women in literature and mythology and ‘Sandhwana Sparsham' talks to women medical practitioners on women-related subjects. One of the segments is meant to improve spoken English.

The show produced by Panorama Television, goes on air on March 8.

Honeymoon Travels

It's a travel game show for newly weds, which begins on March 6. The host is actor Lalu Alex and the winners of this show get to go on a vacation either in India or abroad.

New shows

Kiran TV has revamped its schedule with some exciting new shows and live programmes. Start off the day at 08.00 with ‘Breakfast Kiran' followed by ‘Kiran Wishes' at 09.00. ‘Love and Lost' is at 10.00 and ‘Kiran Classic' is at 11.00. At 13.00, listen to some of the choicest films songs in ‘Kiran Select.' At 14.00 is ‘Dance Dance.' Check out the latest news from Mollywood in ‘Film News' at 19.25 followed at 19.30 by the daily film. At 23.00 is the show ‘Meghasandesham.'
